Thrifty Super Bowl

I broke out the Bigfoot necklace again as it is the best necklace ever in the history of this great and glorious Earth.

Bigfoot necklace: thrifted. Jean jacket: thrifted. Super cute silk dress: thrifted. I wore this outfit to a Super Bowl party despite the fact I know zero things about football. My friends still love me though, and one even took to quoting my observations on Facebook. Sample quote: "Who knew there'd be such fun fashion?" (Did y'all see Joe Namath's coat? It was insanity!)

It was a fun night, and I was terribly comfortable in my mostly-thrifted outfit. Non-thrifted outfit items include the leggings and shoes. I purchased those shoes for Robert's family's Christmas party I didn't end up going to because I was sick (just like this dress -- I was going to look snazzy at that party!).

Whenever I hang out with people who like football, it makes me wish I liked football. There's such camaraderie! There's so much drama and excitement! People are so into it. But, alas, I'm pretty sure it'll never be. Still, I'll definitely watch a game once a year. (That half-time show! The Super Bowl snacks! Peyton Manning's sad face! A few funny commercials! Joe Namath's wackadoodle coat!)
