I put on this outfit at the end of the day to go walk the dog. It's kind of a fancy walking the dog outfit, but I'm not getting out of the house much these days, and I decided dog walking was as good of a reason as any to throw on a dress and a pair of red platform shoes.
Thomas could care less. He's a little, tiny baby. He's not big on style. I call this his "old man face." I love it. (Sidenote: Do they put enough warnings on baby items! Yes, yes they do. And they make a paranoid new mom even more paranoid.)
These thrifted shoes have always been a little too big so I knew they would still fit me. Did my feet grow with pregnancy? I think so, but I haven't actually tried on any shoes other than these and flip flops. Why not? For one, I've been busy. I have an adorable newborn baby and spend most of my time barefoot dealing with diapers and feedings and discussing how cute my son is. Another major reason? Fear. Fear none of my shoes fit me anymore. Obviously, having a baby is totally worth losing a shoe collection. Clearly. And yet I can't quite bring myself to face the music yet... not quite read to face the potentially shoe-less music...

You look so cute! I love the red and green together. I am so glad that Thomas makes an old man face :) Those warnings are quite something. I suppose they're necessary (for some people more than others,) but must they put the warnings right there next to his wee sleeping face?

Thomas has the best "old man face"....hahaha....he's too adorable:)
And don't worry. Your feet would go back to its normal size:D
I love your stripey dress with those fabulous red shoes. Baby is cute, but I'm afraid you steal the show here. It's a tragedy that you'll have to go shopping for all new shoes!!
What's with those huge warnings?!! I wouldn't like them either - you look gorgeous in your stripe dress and fab red shoes, wait for colder weather to try the shoes! baby Thomas' face is just so adorable, give his gorgeous cheeks a little kiss from me! x x x
Aren't you cute? I love baby boy's face!!
Those red shoes are cute, but not as cute as Thomas! I think the warning labels mean, "Warning, there is a baby in here!" ;P
You look effortlessly chic in the dress and sandals!! Even if your feet seem to have grown hold onto your shoes! My feet seemed to go back down to their old size after a while. Your little munchkin is looking too cute!
Great outfit and those shoes are amazing.
Loving Thomas's old man face!
