4. Playing catch

5. Critter window shopping
(Straight up: PetCo/ PetSmart are now favorite places to kill a little time with the nugget. We kill that time dead while looking at snakes, hamsters, birds and the like!)

Lately I've been loving...

1. This dapper little boy all dressed up for a holiday party!

2. I definitely had the best looking date there!

3. He also looks amazing as an elf. 

4. And his Santa hat game is on point. 

5. Oh how I love this little boy!

Loving It

1. I love his little baby face so much.

2. Fall leaves. The best.

3. Thomas now likes books. We've read them to him his whole life, but now, he brings them to me and points at the pictures and turns the pages.

4. And I only recently realized how up-in-books this kid is because I've been putting together a photo album, and there are a lot of photos of him with books. (But let's be clear: Balls are his number one love and his number one word and his number one favorite thing in the world.)

5. And finally, the husband and I went to a wedding of a sweet friend of ours, and it was gorgeous, and we had a fun date night. Yay marriage!

Loving it

Lately I've been loving...

1. Thomas's super adorable "Where the Wild Things Are" sweatshirt. (I'll eat you up, I love you so!)

2. Sugar and cinnamon rim on pumpkin beer. I want to shake the hand of the person who came up with this!

3. Days at the park.

4. Orchids. 

5. Hitting the cidery. It's like a brewery, but everything tastes like apples! 

Loving It

 Lately I've been loving...

1. This view from my parents' window.

2. The ball! Thomas's favorite word right now is "ball." It's also his favorite thing. Is my baby sporty? Discuss.

3. To me, this is the picture that best describes the summer (which is sadly long gone at this point, but I'm putting it here anyway!): Thomas and mommy just hanging out. It's been a big transition to get back in the swing of things at work!

5. There's a place outside of Charlotte called Discovery Place Kids and it is a magical wonderland full of everything a tiny kiddo could want to play with. Seriously. If I had found this at the start of the summer instead of the end of it, it would be the only thing Thomas and I ever did!

Loving It

Lately I've been loving...

1. My nephew's snorkeling face!

2. Thomas's silly face!

3. Seeing the fossils at the La Brea Tar Pits. So much craziness!

4. Seriously, they had 404 dire wolf skulls! So many dire wolf skulls!

5. My little boy's fascination with planes (can't blame you, kiddo).

6. And the fact he slept for two hours on the flight home. (Yay! And also: Yay home!)

Loving It

 Lately I've been loving...

1. Hanging with my beautiful sister before her wedding!

2. And looking at that beautiful dress!

3. Being Matron of Honor (such an honor for this matron, I tell you what!).

4. The fact my sister had Thomas sit on her lap when she was eating in her wedding dress (so very brave).

5. When I had on what felt like Kardashian-levels of makeup, but despite this (because of this) looked pretty darn good!

Loving It

Lately I've been loving...

1. Putting my hands in Marilyn Monroe's hand prints!

2. Seeing the hand prints of my favorite Hollywood couple! (Also: Thomas's thrifted moccasins are amazing. I bought those when he was itty bitty because I knew he would fit into them some day!)

3. Hey there, Greta Garbo.

4. Baby in a hot tub!

5. California sunsets over the ocean. So beautiful.

Loving It

Lately I've been loving...

1. Thomas seeing the ocean for the very first time.

2. Seeing how much his dad loves it too (seeing Thomas see the ocean, that is).

3. Thomas spending quality time with my sister (and that little sweater he's wearing -- garage sale buy for the win!).

4. Thomas meeting his Great Aunt Peggy and Great Uncle Tayo (and my cool water dress, but I've already blogged about that).

5. Getting a picture with all three of us! Usually it's just me taking a picture of Robert and Thomas or vice versa.

6. This angelic little face!

Loving It

Lately I've been loving...

1. Thomas has been pointing at everything. "Let's talk about this thing over here! Okay, now let's go over there. Awesome. Now I'm going to point at that stranger over there. What's up stranger?!"

2. Thrifting all the kids toys (and outdoor kiddo furniture in the case of this picnic table).

3. My latest nail color was a lot. Very chalky, apparently. I loved it. I hated it. I took it off.

4. New art purchase! Bee a Weirdo!

5. Thomas playing with other kids. It's the best. How cute? (It was no one's birthday. Despite the balloon.)
