Style Icon: Jack Kerouac

Okay, first I have to be honest and say I'm not a huge fan of Jack Kerouac as a writer. I'm not saying he's not amazing. I'm just saying, he's not to my taste. I haven't read him since I was in my early 20s so maybe I should give him another shot. I think he's just not my style. But his style? Yeah. That's my style. You can't deny he's dreamy! He has that all-American heart-throb thing going on.

Very masculine. Kinda tough. But also bookish. Is it wrong to call this acclaimed writer a dreamboat? I mean, is that really so wrong? Does it make it more wrong that I'm not actually a fan of his writing?

Well wrong or not, there's no denying Jack Kerouac was a total dreamboat. That's just a fact. A fact that goes down in American literary history.

Wow I didn't know he had it goin' on!
His Dharma Bums was my fave book in high school, when I dreamed of being a bohemian traveler. Takes me back!
Hope all is well. :-)
