The Princess Bride

You know how the book is always better than the movie? I've found a huge exception: "The Princess Bride." It was not such a great book, but it is one of the most entertaining, inspiring, hilarious and quotable movies of all time.

"Hear this now: I will always come for you." -- Westley
"But how can you be sure?" -- Buttercup
"This is true love -- you think this happens every day?" -- Westley

(I even forgive that tiny, tiny ponytail because the movie is so good. And I really hate tiny, tiny man ponytails.)

What?! Seriously?! I thought the books was excellent! Didn't you love knowing the full back stories to Inigo and Fezzik? I've read the book to my 4th graders and then showed them the movie and the kids are always upset there isn't more Inigo and Fezzik in the movie!

Aw man. I am horrible with movies. Can you believe that I still have not seen this one??? It is seriously on my list though. I get teased about it endlessly. But honestly, I just saw Steel Magnolias for the first time a couple of weeks ago, so I'm really bad. LOL Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I really appreciate it.
